Create ART on the walls, not for the walls!

"Stamping or stenciling" finish:

Materials and Tools:
Semi-gloss paint, makeup sponge, paper towel, stencil (there are plenty available in the market for just a couple of pennies, need advice on where to buy them, email me maniemohan@gmail.com; want to create your own? Follow my blog)

First, pour your semi-gloss paint into a paint tray and use the flat side of the sponge to coat the stamp. Load the sponge with some color and blot the excess on your paper towel. If you're using a small stamp design, use a small foam brush to coat your stamp.
Begin by either measuring out the placement of your stamps, or simply stamp them randomly on the walls or around the window openings. You may want to practice on some old newspaper until you get the hang of it. Your first stamp will always be heavier than your second, and this slight variation is nice. Even if parts of your stamp don't actually imprint on the wall, it makes for a hand-crafted look. Step back every once in awhile to check your placement. You'll have so much fun, you'll be done before you know it!

Tip - you can also use metallic paints like gold and silver to give your home a traditional look!
